Sandable Flexiable Skin for Craftfoam

So while making Azula last year I created something, I had not seen really anywhere else at the time. And it's really simple. And it does like ten things at once. So what does it do? Here's the list:
-Seals craftfoam in 2-3 coats min.
-creates a sandable surface
-levels inconsistent areas and hides seams
-can be used to prime base coat
-remains flexible (for medium to minor range of motion)

What is it made of?
-1 part acyrillic gesso (perferably one that reads flexiable but its not nessary)
-1 part mod podge
-resealable jar (for storage)
Optional:
-Elmer's glue (thinning agent)
-tacky glue (sticking/thickening agent)
-acyclic paint your choice of primer color

And well there it is!
So on Azula I used it all around my edges on my armor. I am obsessive about making seams disappear whether it be in craft foam or fabric. Here's an example, anything gold or brick colored I used the flexiskin.
Can you see the seams?

In this derp photo you are able to see a few because of the strong uneven lighting.

My armor edges remained flexible to a certain point obviously, but still flexible enough to move around freely without damage. Also the neater the seam the better it disappears. 

Pro Tip! 

Remember to add any where from 50 to 10 percent mod podge or any other pva glue to your regular paint for added flexibility and brush stroke less paint.

Wig Styling Cutting Pic Dump

Playing with my very first wig, for practice. Did not intend for it to look like Fire Nation Katara....

Finally cut my Bulbasaur Gijinka wig. Much better now that it's not the mop it came as. Sewed up few wefts, I cut too many the first time fitting the ears. You can still see a little bit a bald spot below the ear. Also sanded down one ear to make it fit better (they're made of plaster). Now gotta do the other...Btw, first wig I've ever cut to style it.
As you can see in the first pic (with Yaya Han my cosplay idol) it just every where and had no form.

So, lace front wigs are generally hard to come by and usually start at the hundred dollar mark. Well maybe I should explain what a lace front wig is? A lace front wig has a section of extremely fine lace from ear to ear across the hair line. Individual hairs are then tied into the lace to create a natural looking hairline. Apparently this things have been around since the French invented them for their royalty. But today they are most commonly used in movies and by celebrities. Here below is an example of a high end lace front wig. You can see the lace which is left uncut until the buyer receives it.

So what can we as cosplayers use them for? Basically any character that has some or all of their hair pulled back in some manner. For example Azula from Avatar:The Last Airbender or Vegeta from Dragonball Z.
The Search!
The only place I've ever bought wigs from is ebay. Because generally they are cheap and I count myself as a fairly savvy ebayer.
So I searched lace front wig in Women's Accessories, with full wig checked on the side bar. Originally I had all of my parameters entered into the sidebar but I was turning up shit. Only when I turned 90 percent of the search parameters off did I get some super awesome stuff! So let be lesson ebayers, don't let the easiness of those little boxes fool you. All the sellers have different ways of listing their stuff and sometime they plain don't add any details at all into the search info.

With high quality multiview pictures and Kanekalon fibers this wig is a very safe choice. Kanekalon is a preferred name brand wig fiber of cosplayers. Guaranteeing at least a medium quality wig, possibly a high quality wig. The major let down with this seller is the extremely long and untrackable shipping. The ad is also clear in its description however brief.
Third Choice not really....
Lux vouge
Was the first wig I came across in my search. It's fairly cheap but the ad is just awful. The pictures are not so great either and the ad contradicts itself by saying straight texture but the also said made of yaki fiber (a kinky fiber made to imitate African American hair texture). Says free shipping down below but has 7.99 economy listed above. You can't be sure of the quality of the fiber but according to a youtube review, it wouldn't last more than a week on regular wear. I only considered this one because at the time it was the only one I could find and I was too worried about wear since the majority of the hair was going to be in fixed position and would not rub. Also I assured by tutorials I had seen in the past I could easily correct over shinyness or softness.

Alright so that's how you find a lace front wig on ebay. When I get mine I'll be sure to talk about the qualitly at some point. I will also talk about how I am going to style it as lace front and not a full lace wig, considering Azula's hair is pulled straight up into a top knot.
